Not fewer than 1,752 jobs
were created through the Gombe State Entrepreneurial programme in the last four
years following its Entrepreneurial Development Partnership with Bank of
Industry (BOI).

Gombe State Governor, Ibrahim
Dankwambo who was represented by his deputy, Dr. Charles Iliya made the
revelation while delivering speech at the commissioning of a new
Zonal office of the Bank of Industry in the state.
Governor Dankwambo who said the
effort was to enhance economic development drive of the state, confirmed
that the programme had succeeded in contributing to the development of medium
and small scale industries thereby enhancing economic activities, revenue
generation, and reduced poverty level in the state.
